The Bellwood Chicks got together for their off year get together! This time they met in The Woodlands Texas on Friday June 5. This year those making the trek were GayNan, Linda, Cynthia, Sue, Lonna Mary Ann Dorothy and Connie. After a little local shopping Friday afternoon (we had to pace ourselves, we still had a full day of shopping planned for Saturday), we went to eat at Willie's. It was a fun place where everyone could get what they wanted. Luckily for those Louisiana folks the LSU Super Regional was on the TV there, so they didn't have to miss anything. Back to the hotel to finish the game and catch up on everyone's lives. GayNan had some big news about her, Linda and Mary Ann. They have started a buisness in Baton Rouge. Hopefully they will share some pictures and more information as soon as they get it looking just like they want. After a game and many laughs we decided we best get some sleep for a full day of shopping. Off the Old Town Spring Saturday morning. I think everyone was able to find something they liked, some too much! Of course there was lunch in there somewhere. GayNan was planning to get together with a friend she taught with many years ago, who now lives in the area. We met her and her husband at the Cheesecake Factory for yet another meal. I think its safe to say we shopped and ate our way through The Woodlands and Spring! We're already planning the next trip in two years. Hopefully anyone that took pictures will post theirs also, and add any comments they have.

The Old Homestead

Hey, everyone. I have been meaning to post these pictures on here for quite a while now. It never ceases to amaze me how different the house looks and wishing I could go back in time to my childhood to visit the house I remember. I hope you enjoy these images.

While we were having fun....

While Ken and I were having a great time at the reunion with all of you, our lab was in the kennel. We returned to find he had had an accident and had to have 17 stitches!! He's a pretty goofy dog anyway, but he got his foot caught in a grate and pulled the foot and grate up and cut his leg. The kennel acted very quickly and got him to the vet in record time (the nice part of living in a small town). He should be able to get his stitches out middle of next week and loose the dreaded e-collar. You can see from the picture he has run into us, walls and furniture with that collar! Let us know what is going on with you guys
